'Autumn walks with a dog'

I absolutely loved drawing this tutorial. Working with a limited palette taught me so much about creating depth, texture and detail in the dog's portrait. I especially enjoyed drawing the knitted hat and collar, the textures were such as pleasure to capture.  The finished piece makes me want to wrap up warm, head out into the woods and enjoy a peaceful walk in nature.
